Archery Queensland State Championships

The AQ State Championship events held each year are our only source of funds outside the government grants.

The Championships are held each year at a number of clubs across Queensland offering an opportunity for young and adult members to experience competitive target archery and receive scores towards Archery Australia ranking.

The revenue generated from these two events help cover the operational cost of AQ as well as providing assistance (outside the approved government funding programs) to clubs.

The 2 day AQ Championships event is held on 1 weekend each year – in 2023 the Championships were simultaneously held in August at Centenary Archers Club (Brisbane), Peace International Archery Club (Rockhampton) and Townsville Target Archers Club (Townsville).

For 2024 onwards the results will be collated across the State and medals presented based on overall results.
